Story
Eighteen years ago, the young and rebellious Emerson Carter was entangled with Miles Parker, a gangster. Her father, Jack Carter, tried to persuade her with kind words, but she stood by coldly and let the gangster break his leg, which left Jack Carter heartbroken. Eighteen years later,Emerson Carter, who survived a fire but was disfigured, had a chance encounter with Stephen Carter on the street. Being suspicious that Stephen Carter might be her son because of the birthmark on his arm, Emerson Carter decided to stay in the Carter Family to take care of her father and slowly persuade her rebellious son to mend his ways. However, she was kicked out of the Carter Family because of the joint plots made by the housekeeper Aurora Reynolds and her cousin Nicholas Carter. In the end, the family got united after going through many hardships. She successfully got the father’s forgiveness and had his son straightened up.
