Story
This drama tells the story of Shengnan Zhou, a college student from a remote village, who after seven years of hard work finally becomes the president of a listed company. After returning to China, Shengnan immediately returns to hometown to visit her mother, whom she hasn't seen for years, To her dismay, she learns that her patriarchal family has been maligning her reputation, spreading she's involved in disreputable work in the city. This has led to her mother being frequently subjected to the villagers' censure, even her father and grandmother's mistreatment. Upon her arrival, Zhou Shengnan not only shields her mother but also pays homage to the land that raised her. She spearheads the community's efforts to transform their homeland, fostering diligence and prosperity among the villagers.
