Story
On the way to his girlfriend Louisa Astor's house for a meal, Henry Lowell and his mother, Agnes Byrd, are stranded by the roadside when Louisa receives a call from her childhood sweetheart. Left in the severe cold, Agnes tragically succumbs to a heart attack. Grieving his mother’s death, Henry ends his relationship with Louisa. However, unaware of Agnes’s passing, Louisa mistakes his solemn words for a mere tantrum.
