Story
When Jane Payne reaches her fifties, she loses her only son and cries so much that she goes blind from grief. Later, when she miraculously regains her sight, she stumbles upon a shocking scene—her daughter-in-law is having an affair at home and plotting to kill her for insurance money. To survive, Jane pretends she’s still blind. As she silently observes, hidden clues begin to surface, suggesting that her son’s death may not have been an accident.
