Story
Beth Aston loses her sight while saving an elderly woman, only to face her mother's insistence that she marry a frail, elderly man. Determined to escape, she flees—and is rescued by the old lady's grandson, Oscar Ford. As Beth and Oscar grow closer, their bond deepens, eventually leading to marriage. With his support, Beth resumes her studies and ultimately undergoes treatment to restore her sight.
