Story
On her birthday eighteen years ago, Lily Bennett was kidnapped and sold by her gambling-addicted father to pay off his debts. Desperate to escape, she pretended to suffocate and was thrown into a river, only to be rescued and raised by a kind sanitation worker, Margaret Shaw.
