Story
As a child, Emily Keegan and her mother suffer abuse from the First Madam, who poisons her and leaves her mute. In her darkest moment, a piece of candy sparks an innocent friendship with a young boy. Years later, she ascends to the top to protect her mother, but her sister humiliates her, the man she loves treats her as a substitute, and even her childhood savior only uses her. She gains everything, but loses it all. No one emerges as the winner within the palace.
